Stucco is a durable, weather-resistant exterior finish made from a mixture of Portland cement, lime, sand, and water. It is traditionally applied by hand in multiple layers over a supportive wire mesh frame to form a solid, stone-like shell around a building.

is primarily used for leveling large horizontal spans, cutting down seams, or creating specific decorative finish textures.
Transform your home’s exterior with a traditional three-coat stucco shell, meticulously crafted in textures ranging from a classic rugged skip-trowel to an ultra-luxury smooth finish. For horizontal surrounds, we install high-performance concrete overlays that perfectly match this high-end stucco aesthetic while providing a slip-proof, chemical-resistant surface engineered specifically for pool decks.
Smooth plastering in traditional stucco (often called a Santa Barbara finish or smooth mission finish) requires a distinct shift in technique from textured finishes. Instead of leaving the surface open or grainy, you must compress the material to bring out the "cream" (the fine cement paste) and seal the aggregate.
Using traditional vertical-wall stucco formulas on flat pool decks is highly discouraged, as wall stucco lacks the foot-traffic durability, chemical resistance, and flex strength needed for horizontal walking surfaces. Instead, pool decks use specialized acrylic-modified concrete overlays or spray-deck systems that can be troweled or sprayed to mimic a high-end stucco aesthetic
